Words versus Actions

Word   (wurd)
n : A sound or a combination of sounds, or its representation in writing or printing, that symbolizes and communicates a meaning and may consist of a single morpheme or of a combination of morphemes.

ac·tion  ( k sh n)
n. : something done (usually as opposed to something said).

Actions take time to divulge personal ideologies, and when they do, they reveal accurate dogmas upon which identities are echoed. Until then… words are normally trusted. Although this is not the wisest thing to do, we, due to our human nature, almost always find comfort in words. To us, words are what keep us strong throughout our weakness, they condole us through our pain, and they help us believe when we’ve lost faith. To our hearts and ears, words are the music that transmit a light of contentment into our souls, no matter how slight the contentment is, we let it in, we welcome it fervently through those words and that’s where risk begins to break in, to impose, for words pollute our perception of people, which may greatly disappoint us….that’s the bottom-line: words versus actions. Blind trust versus reality…

Letting go....

Letting go is something we gradually learn in life…it takes time to get there, but it is something that is bound to happen, and it will happen sooner or later. The methods by which people learn to move on differ; in most cases, pain is a fundamental factor, which is part of the lesson. It helps us appreciate that moving on is a necessity, and it encourages us to focus on letting go, because no matter how hard we try to fight for something or someone, when we don’t get any response, we reach to a point where we no longer have the ability to struggle….and that’s when we learn that letting go does not always mean surrender….it simply means accepting what cannot be!

Masks...

Masks; they come in different colours, sizes and shapes.
When we see those colours, we get pulled towards the beauty in them, which keeps on pulling us further until we start to drown, and only then do we start realizing that the picture we’d seen in our hearts had in fact deceived us. Only then do we become aware that the closer we look into that visual rendering of the mask, the blurrier it gets, and we start shouting for help…when it’s a little too late, when the damage has already played its part by ripping our hopes apart, by tearing our hearts, by disappointing the little optimism left in our souls…and we finally learn our lesson, we learn to never let colourblindness develop into myopia…for most of the times, colours are deceptive…

Letters!

Letters! When loneliness strikes our world and penetrates the walls of joy, safety & comfort....we're left with nothing but letters....combined to constitute what feels the closest to the pain we're going through, and each one of those letters reflects a reason behind the pain we're feeling, and each reason mirrors the affect a certain person has had in our lives!
